LOS ANGELES, Sept 25 — Ahead of its premiere this December on A&E, Lifetime and History, the miniseries on the famous bank-robbing couple is teased in a new trailer.
“Bonnie & Clyde” will depict the life of crime led by the two legendary lovers from Texas, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
The new video features Emile Hirsch (“Savages,” “Into the Wild”) and Holliday Grainger (“The Borgias”) in the title roles, over the soundtrack of Nancy Sinatra’s “Bang Bang,” a song that Quentin Tarantino included in the first “Kill Bill” film.
William Hurt (“Damages”) also makes an appearance as Frank Hamer, the police officer instrumental in tracking down the two outlaws in 1934. Holly Hunter, seen in Jane Campion’s series “Top of the Lake,” plays Emma Parker, Bonnie’s mother.
A four-part miniseries, “Bonnie & Clyde” will air simultaneously on the American cable channels A&E, Lifetime and History this Dec 8 and 9.
