Liam Payne’s album gets a fall release date

LOS ANGELES, May 17 — Liam Payne used the occasion of a television appearance this week to reveal that his highly anticipated debut solo album will be released in September.

The former One Direction member appeared on Good Morning, America on Tuesday, where he performed his debut solo track Strip That Down, then was joined by J Balvin for a performance of their joint track Familiar.

Prior to that, Payne talked with a reporter about his upcoming album, revealing “It is out on the 14th of September, I can tell you that much. And I’m really happy with it, it’s come out really nice.”

Further details about the album have yet to be revealed, but it is expected it will include 2017’s Strip That Down and the newly released Familiar along with another 2017 solo track, Bedroom Floor.

Payne joined his One Direction bandmates in readying a solo album. Zayn Malik is currently at work on his second, while Harry Styles and Niall Horan have released their solo debuts, and Louis Tomlinson likewise has a solo LP on the way. — AFP-Relaxnews
