KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Retail prices for all grades of fuel were unchanged in the first weekly announcement under a Pakatan Harapan government.

According to the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry on Twitter, RON95 remains at RM2.20/L, RON97 at RM2.47/L, and diesel at RM2.18/L.

The prices have remained fixed for weeks despite supposedly being managed using a weekly float, triggering claims that the previous Barisan Nasional government had resisted raising prices ahead of the 14th general election.

Brent crude is trading in the US$77 (RM305.53) region and is expected to climb to US$80, up from the low US$70s last month.
