Supermax shares rise eight sen to RM2.68 on MD’s apology

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 — Supermax Corporation Bhd share price climbed eight sen to RM2.68 per share following Managing Director Datuk Seri Stanley Thai’s apology for getting involved in the 13th General Election (GE13).

At 3.43pm, 4.92 million shares were transacted.

On another note, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz resigned as the glovemaker’s independent and non-executive chairman, effective April 14.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the resignation was due to personal reasons. — Bernama
