LOS ANGELES, April 11 — For those not headed to the desert for this year’s Coachella Festival, organisers have revealed the details of a live stream that will broadcast select performances April 13 to 15.
Coachella’s YouTube live stream will this year consist of four different feeds featuring a range of artists from the line-up of the California festival, which runs over two consecutive weekends — April 13 to 15 and April 20 to 22.
So far, 78 artists have been confirmed for the live stream, including Beyonce, Chloe x Halle, Haim, Jamiroquai, Nike Rodgers & Chic, the Weeknd and Tyler, the Creator.
Fans can set up their streaming schedule in advance over at Coachella’s line-up page; simply choose the artists you’d like to see from the channel schedule and the live stream will automatically switch over to that channel at the right time.
New this year is a fourth channel that will feature an immersive, VR180 stream covering the Main Stage, Sahara Tent and festival grounds. Viewers will be able to watch that stream using a VR viewer or as a regular video.
