GOLD COAST, April 11 — National divers Leong Mun Yee and Nur Dhabitah Sabri clinched a bronze medal in the women’s 3m springboard final of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

In the event held at the Optus Aquatic Centre, Mun Yee-Nur Dhabitah accumulated 264.90 points after completing the five -dive final event.

The national pair, displayed a consistent performance and was ranked second until their fourth dive.

But a simple mistake occurred in their last dive which gave them only 42.30 points to finish third.

Australian Esther Qin and Georgia Sheehan took the gold medal with a total of 284.10 points while Alicia Blagg and Katherine Torrance clinched the silver with a total of 276.90 points. — Bernama
