KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 — Bukit Bintang Umno Youth last night lodged a police report on a man who was seen pulling down and damaging Barisan Nasional flags at the junction of Jalan Sultan Abdul Samad and Jalan Tun Sambathan 4, here.

Bukit Bintang Umno Youth head Jefree Zain Affendi Dan Yunan said he hoped police would investigate quickly and act against the irresponsible individual.

He also alleged the incident was an act of sabotage and provocation which could create a tense environment.

“I hope the matter would not be repeated and that the general election this time would see healthy contest among the various parties,” he told reporters at the Dang Wangi police headquarters here.
