Enjoy clean toilets when fuelling with Petron

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 — Petron Malaysia aims to make its petrol stations a favourite pit-stop by providing facilities of a high standard, especially clean toilets.

Petron Retail Business head Faridah Ali said to achieve that, Petron launched Tandas Kita Bersih, a nationwide campaign ensuring clean toilets at its petrol stations.

She said the campaign is part of Petron’s service quality program to offer clean, comfortable and safe toilets for customers.

“This campaign promotes Petron’s efforts in caring for the community by driving a new standard of clean, dry and operational toilets,” she said in a statement.

“We hope to promote cleanliness and a culture of good sanitation so that our communities can benefit from this.”

Last year, one-third of Petron’s toilets were rated between 4 and 5 stars for cleanliness by local councils.

Petron’s Tongkang Pecah service station in Johor was named the champion of the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government’s Clean Toilet 1Malaysia 2017 award while its Kuchai Lama station in Kuala Lumpur bagged third place.

She said, as part of the campaign, Petron will be holding competitions among its stations from January 2018 to March 2019, which include the Tagline Competition, Best Toilet Landscape, Best Local Council Toilet Rating, and Before and After.

The campaign is conducted with the cooperation of the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry as well as various state local councils.
