LONDON, Feb 12 — Rock band Muse confirmed to fans this weekend that a new single called Thought Contagion is on the way.
The group took to social media to reveal the artwork for the single, about which little else is known.
Back in January, NME reported that the group appeared to be looking for extras to appear in a music video being filmed in Los Angeles that was believed to be for a track called Thought Contagion, but the band has only now confirmed the title.
The artwork for the track has a California vibe that fits well with the video's presumed Los Angeles setting; It pictures the band's bassist, Chris Wolstenholme, wearing sunglasses and backdropped by palm trees, a full moon and a muscle car.
Last May, the band shared a single called Dig Down, joined by a video, and it appears Thought Contagion might get a similar release as a one-off single and video, although that remains to be confirmed — likely very soon.
Muse is set to make a number of festival appearances over the coming months, including shows at Rock am Ring, Bonnaroo and Rock in Rio Lisbon. The English rockers' last full-length album, Drones, was released in 2015. — AFP-Relaxnews
