KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 — When it comes to declaring your love for someone, the simplest gestures are sometimes the sweetest.

Really, you needn’t break a sweat arranging for a private screening of The Titanic at Los Angeles’ Staples Center a la Justin Bieber when he was dating Selena Gomez nor do you need to do a Jay Z and present your ladylove (lucky Beyonce!) with a Rolls Royce.

No matter how cliched you think it might be, you’ll never go wrong with a box of pralines or a fine selection of macarons. And even better, a romantic five-course dinner!

To give you an idea of where to go on a day when love reigns supreme, here are snapshots of what some hotels and restaurants in the city are serving up:

Nobu Kuala Lumpur
