SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 4 —Shadow of the Colossus invites another round of glittering accolades with a PlayStation 4 release, survival game Rust leaves Early Access and enters a new phase of development, and Dragon Quest Builders brings its monster-hunting, city-building magic to Nintendo Switch; Civilisation VI: Rise and Fall, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia and Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[st] accompany them with releases the week of February 6, 2018.

Shadow of the Colossus
For PlayStation 4
From February 6

A young hero sets out to save his loved one’s life by defeating 16 successive guardians, a noble mission with terrible unintended consequences. This edition is the PlayStation 2 classic remade from scratch (following an earlier PS3 remaster) to produce the most impressive experience yet.

Civilisation VI: Rise and Fall
For Windows PC
From February 8

Expanding 2016’s excellent planet-spanning strategy Civilisation VI with a focus on emblematic eras, ushered in through milestone achievements (or failures) and reflected in cities’ loyalty, while separate civilisations can now team up with particular aims in mind, whether they be of economic or scientific nature, or in reaction to other powers’ achievements.

Rust
For Windows PC, Mac OS, Linux
From February 8

One of the survival genre’s recent pillars exits an Early Access phase after five years, with an accompanying price rise. Players start off naked and alone with only a hefty rock for company. From there, they must make it against the odds, solo or in company, crafting what they need to survive and fortify, especially if under threat from not just wildlife but other groups.

Dragon Quest Builders
For Nintendo Switch
From February 9

Square Enix’s justifiably confident Minecraft challenger makes the leap from PlayStation platforms to Nintendo’s Switch, bringing fantasy creatures and heroic missions to the recognisably blocky crafting and survival formula.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia
For PlayStation 4
From February 9

An action-oriented adaption of the manga and anime franchise The Seven Deadly Sins, whose title refers to a band of knights charged with freeing the land from its despotic rulers.

Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[st]
For PlayStation 4, PS3, Vita
From February 9
