KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 — Chinese New Year is just two weeks away, so which supermarket is offering the best prices for the essentials that will make it a celebration that does not burn a hole in your pocket?
Well, Malay Mail did a spot of window shopping to provide our readers with an idea as to where in the Klang Valley you can get the cheapest beer, soft drinks, cooking oil and groundnuts.
This is not a definitive list but we hope our snapshot helps. The supermarkets we scouted around on February 1 were Giant Amcorp Mall, Tesco Paradigm Mall, Aeon Big Tropicana City, Village Grocer at Bangsar Village, NSK Trade City Kota Damansara, and Econsave Damansara Damai.
