NEW YORK, Jan 18 — Speaking in an interview on Apple Beats 1, Mike D, one of the hip-hop group’s former members, said that a Beastie Boys memoir would be coming in fall 2018.

Mike D reportedly signed a book deal with fellow bandmate Ad-Rock in 2013. Since then, there has been little in the way of news on the project.

When asked about the book, Mike D said: “We’re actually going to finish it, and it’s going to come out finally. Like many things we embark on, there are many false starts and, honestly, directions we went in that we realised were not the directions we should be going in, but it’s gonna be coming out in the fall of this year.”
