SpaceX Dragon splashes into Pacific in safe return (VIDEO)

HOUSTON, Jan 14 — The SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft, carrying supplies and scientific materials, was successfully released from the International Space Station yesterday and landed in the Pacific Ocean, after a month-long delivery mission for Nasa.

This marks the Dragon supply ship's second mission to space. It is carrying nearly 4,100 pounds of cargo back to Earth, which is primarily science gear from human and animal research. — Reuters
