KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 — Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura Sharifuddin are married.
Fans of the celebrity couple had been expecting an announcement any day after the bride hinted that their big day was just around the corner last Thursday.
According to media reports, the pair known as ‘Fattzura’ to fans officially became husband and wife at 9.50pm yesterday after the 27-year-old actor recited the wedding pledge once in front of family members and close friends at a private ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
The 34-year-old bride wore a lilac baju kurung designed by her favourite designer duo Rizman Ruzaini, while Fattah donned a matching baju Melayu.
The bride and groom subsequently shared pictures and videos of the ceremony on their respective Instagram pages.
Fattah and Fazura were first linked after co-starring in the hit TV drama series Hero Seorang Cinderella earlier this year but spent months coyly denying that they were more than just friends.
On November 13, the rumour mill went into overdrive with speculation that they had secretly married after white canopies and wedding-like decorations were spotted at Fazura’s grandmother’s home in Petaling Jaya.
On November 23, the couple met the press at the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur hotel to confirm that they were engaged, after their return from Mecca where they performed the umrah with their respective families.
While not revealing the exact wedding date, Fazura said at the time: “If all goes well with the planning, it shouldn’t be long from now.”
