KOTA KINABALU, Nov 6 — Parti Warisan Sabah leader Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal confirmed he was quizzed by anti graft authorities again, but declined to confirm whether it was in connection with the current ongoing investigation.

Shafie said that he was called up by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) last Thursday but was not feeling well then.

“I am still under medication and was not feeling well, it’s my heart.

“But I will abide by the law. I will cooperate, whatever they want,” he said when met at his house today.

Shafie said he went to the Kota Kinabalu MACC Headquarters here at about 10am and left at about 1.30pm.

He however declined to say what the investigators questioned him on and whether it was on a new case.

“It’s all political,” he claimed, while shaking his head.

In a swoop by MACC last month, 13 people were arrested to facilitate a probe into the alleged siphoning of up to RM1.5 billion in federal project allocations in Sabah through the Rural and Regional Development Ministry.

Shafie was arrested and locked up for eight days and released on October 27.

MACC said they were scrutinising some 60 companies linked with projects for the ministry between 2009 and 2015.
