JDT appoints Ulisses Morais as head coach

KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — Johor Darul Ta’azim Football Club (JDT) has appointed Ulisses Morais as the team’s new head coach.

This was confirmed by a statement on the official Facebook of Johor Southern Tigers last night.

The Portuguese coach replaces Benjamin Mora who returned as coach of Johor Darul Ta’azim II (JDT II).

Morais has coached some of Portugal’s second-tier clubs such as Famalicao, Aves, SC. Beira-Mar and Academica De Coimbra.

“He has trained many well-known players throughout his career. We hope that his experience will be good for JDT,” said the statement.

Morais’ major task is to help JDT win the Super League title for the fourth straight year and to win the Malaysia Cup this year. — Bernama
