KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — Pop rock trio Against the Current have finally added Malaysia to their South-east Asia tour of In Our Bones World Tour Part II after initially announcing their stops in Jakarta, Manila and Bangkok earlier this month.

The band are certainly no strangers to the country, having previously performed there in 2014 and 2015.

However, last year, the band excluded Malaysia during the first part of their world tour while including countries like Singapore and Manila, but luckily this time, Malaysians will finally get a chance to see the band perform songs from their debut album, ‘live’!

Fronted by vocalist Chrissy Costanza, and consist of guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri, Against the Current was formed in 2011, gaining a considerable amount of fame on YouTube after posting covers of various songs while working with other well-known YouTube cover artistes such as Alex Goot and Sam Tsui.

After signing with record label Fuelled by Ramen, the band released their debut album In Our Bones in 2016 which charted at number 181 on the US Billboard 200 chart, at number 15 on the US Top Alternative Albums, and at number 20 on the US Top Rock Albums.

Against the Current’s In Our Bones world tour in Malaysia will be held on September 28, 2017, 8pm, at The Bee, Publika.

The ticket price for the concert is at RM138 (All standing) and is available at ticketcharge.com.my. — TheHive.Asia
