LOS ANGELES, June 15 — Bruce Dern and Dakota Johnson have boarded the adventure drama The Peanut Butter Falcon, alongside Shia LaBeouf.

Both penned and to be directed by Tyler Nilson and Mike Schwartz, the film is set in the world of a modern Mark Twain and revolves around the story of a crab fisherman who embarks on a journey to get a young man with Down syndrome named Zak to a professional wrestling school in rural North Carolina and away from the retirement home where he’s lived most of his life (via Deadline).

Newcomer Zachary Gottsagen, who is the inspiration for the film, will play the principal character of Zak, with production to kick off this month in Savannah, Georgia. — AFP-Relaxnews
