PARIS, June 15 ― After a successful first edition in 2016, Viva Technology ― the international event focused on innovation and startups organised by Publicis Groupe and Groupe Les Échos ― returns to the French capital June 15-17, 2017.

While the first two days are reserved for professional visitors, the public at large can check out all the technology on show at the event on Saturday, June 17. For the occasion, various events are organised to draw the crowds, including an eSports tournament, a concert and digital art performances. It's also an opportunity for families to try out new technologies and, for those who wish, to apply for jobs in the sector.

The show will once again be divided into several zones. Main partners of the event, such as Google and Orange, will be on hand to showcase their new technologies, available to test live at the show. Around 20 other major companies will sponsor “Labs” on various themes, each featuring around 30 startups co-working on various projects.

In the “Hall of Technology,” visitors will be able to admire over a hundred innovations being demoed by creators, from flying drones, 3D printing, and interactive robots to immersive virtual reality experiences.

Finally, six conference rooms will host prestigious speakers with diverse profiles and backgrounds, including Eric Schmidt (Alphabet), Bernard Arnault (LVMH), John Chambers (Cisco), Daniel Zhang (Alibaba), Yuanqing Yang (Lenovo) and Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook) via video link.

The organisers' ambition is to stage a show “like no other” in Europe. In 2016, Viva Technology brought together around 50,000 visitors, 5,000 startups and 400 participants from all around the world.
