CEO of Malindo Air, Mr Chandran Rama Muthy, said: “Malindo Air is very excited to continue with our expansion plan by introducing Phuket as our latest destination. Phuket is a popular holiday spot for tourists from all over the world, and a favourite amongst Malaysians. With a frequency of four weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Phuket, we are pleased to offer our guests the option to visit Phuket via Malindo Air. KLIA will remain as an important gateway for connectivity to other destinations.” Chandran also said: “This is another milestone for us. Mutual economic, social and cultural benefits can be expected as our fares are very competitive. Our innovative services will only stimulate the tourism sector further for both inbound and outbound between these two tourist destinations.”

Phuket, a 49-km long island and branded as the “pearl of the Andaman”, is Thailand’s original flavour of tailor-made fun in the sun. With deep-sea diving, high-end dining, luxury shopping, fabulous white beaches and some of Thailand’s swankiest hotels.
