KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 — Two people were burnt to death after their car burst into flames after it was hit by a bus at 447.7 km North-South Expressway (NSE), south bound from Rawang to Kuala Lumpur, tonight.
Operation Commander of Rawang Fire and Rescue station, Ahmad Kamar Afendi Ismail said the identities of the two victims could not be identified.
Fifteen bus passengers and the bus driver fled to safety in the collision at about 8:30 pm.
Ahmad Kamar said they were trying to remove the charred remains of the two victims of the fiery road crash.
A total of 14 firemen from Rawang and Kuala Kubu Bharu fire stations were deployed to the scene of the road accident.
The accident caused traffic congestion stretching four kilometres. — Bernama
