SINGAPORE, May 29 — Three men — including the driver and passenger of a Lamborghini sports car — were taken to the hospital after a road accident at Sentosa this afternoon.

The police said it was alerted to an accident involving three cars along Allanbrooke Road towards Cove Avenue in Sentosa at around 4.50pm.

The three men “were conscious when conveyed to the Singapore General Hospital”, the police added.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the accident at about 5pm.

Pictures of the accident on social media showed the badly damaged yellow Lamborghini belly-up at the side of a road. It is not known what caused the car to flip over.

TODAY understands that the driver is a 22-year-old man. His male passenger is 21.

Another vehicle, a black Toyota Estima, was also damaged in the accident. Its driver, a 38-year-old man, was taken to hospital.

Pictures online also showed a third car, a green Mini Cooper, involved in the accident.

It is not known how the accident occurred. Police investigations are ongoing.
