HARARE, August 9 — Lawyers for Zimbabwe opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai's party filed an appeal in the constitutional court on Friday against the results of the crunch elections which gave veteran President Robert Mugabe another five-year term.
"The Movement for Democratic Change has filed its election petition," party spokesman Douglas Mwonzora told journalists outside the court. — AFP
