Pahang to remain in Super League next season

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 — The Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Disciplinary Committee threw Pahang a lifeline to remain in the Super League next season by reversing the result of their match against Kedah.

The FAM Disciplinary Committee which met yesterday reversed the result of the Kedah versus Pahang match on Aug 3 (Kedah won 1-0) and awarded Pahang a 3-0 win after finding Kedah guilty of using a suspended player.

According to the case, Kedah had fielded Mohd Rizal Mohd Ghazali in the match against Pahang at the Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Star on Aug 3, although the player was facing an automatic suspension for accumulating three yellow cards.
