KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 — The 2015 FAM Cup final between Perlis and Melaka United will be held at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka.
The decision was announced by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) through its Twitter account after a competitions committee meeting at Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya, today.
Perlis who emerged as the winner of Group A and Melaka United who were top in Group B also gained promotion to the Premier League next season while Kuala Lumpur and SPA Putrajaya FC who finished in the last two spots of the Premier League were relegated to the FAM Cup competition in 2016.
With the Super League, Premier League and FAM Cup competitions coming to an end, the Malaysia Cup competition involving 10 Super League, four Premier League and two teams from a playoff, will kick off next month.
The playoff for the two Malaysia Cup places will see NS Matrix take on Armed Forces at the Selayang Stadium while Sime Darby FC face Johor Darul Ta’zim II at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi, Seremban. — Bernama
