KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 — Veteran award-winning actress Fauziah Ahmad Daud or known to fans as ‘Ogy’ has offered 27-year-old Fattah Amin a chance to improve his acting skills — by attending her acting classes.

Fauziah is a fan of Fattah and she strongly believes that her classes will aide him in the coming years.

“I want Fattah to attend my classes to improve his acting skills, and by doing so he could improve more than just his acting skills.

“It’ll be his loss if he does not take up my offer as there’s so much room for improvement,” she told Astro Gempak.

Fattah is constantly criticised by Malaysians through social media platforms for his lack of feelings and emotions whenever he takes on a role.

He is best known for playing Adrian, the main character in television drama Playboy Itu Suami Aku and also starred in other television series such as Gerak Khas 2016, Ketupat Palas Mr Handsome and Hello Mr. Perfect.

Besides offering Fattah a chance to improve his skills, Fauziah criticised a handful of upcoming actors & actresses for lacking emotions whenever they act.

“Based on my observations, they do not know how to play with emotions during a shoot.

“This is because they do not understand what the character is all about and emphasize too much on memorising the script — which is wrong,” said the 55 year old.

In December last year director Erma Fatima defended Fattah on social media after Malaysians took a dig at him on Instagram and Twitter for his lacklustre acting skills.

“How much more do the fans want of Fattah? He can act, maybe he’s not given a more challenging role yet,” she said.

Fauziah’s 40-year acting career has seen her collect multiple awards as best female actress from Malaysia Film Festival and Anugerah Skrin Malaysia.

Among her most notable films are Ali Setan, Puteri, Bintang Malam, Langit Cinta and Suara Saleha
