LOS ANGELES, March 2 — After several days of teasing her new single on social media, Meghan Trainor has shared the upbeat dance track No Excuses and its pastel-hued video.
The US singer-songwriter revealed details of the track in a string of Instagram posts earlier in the week, sharing lyrics from the song and letting fans know a video would drop on the same day, with further posts following throughout the week.
Yesterday, she announced the track’s release via social media, unleashing the video a few hours later.
In the video, Trainor can be found singing to the camera in a variety of scenes, some in which she appears in triple and others that find her dancing alone in front of glittery, pastel backdrops.
The singer likewise revealed via Instagram that she is busy readying her third album, and that No Excuses is its first single.
The album — which is expected out this year — will follow Thank You, which released in 2016, the same year she won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She first achieved fame in 2014 with her single All About That Bass, which appeared on her debut album, Title. — AFP-Relaxnews
