KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 9 — If The Rock wants to do another video thanking his Malaysian fans, the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor is always welcome to do so, especially since the movie has just passed another milestone at the box office in Malaysia!

As of January 7, the movie has made a total of RM52.5 million, according to its distributor Sony Pictures Malaysia, climbing up a spot and making it the second biggest movie of all time in the country.

Passing the RM50 million mark last weekend, this also makes the movie the biggest title for Sony in Malaysia, beating the RM30.5 million within 11 days of release record held by The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The distributor has expressed that their wish to reach the next stage of their goal, RM54 million, which, judging by the love the movie is still getting in cinemas, it just might be able to reach the goal soon.
