LOS ANGELES, Dec 1 — Lionsgate has released the first trailer for upcoming action film Acts of Violence that stars Bruce Willis.  

Willis plays Detective James Avery, a cop investigating human trafficking and fighting the corrupted bureaucracy that has harmful intentions. He teams up with Roman (Ashton Holmes) and his ex-military brothers to rescue Roman’s fiancee who has been kidnapped by human traffickers.  

The film also stars Cole Hauser, Shawn Ashmore, Sophia Bush, Mike Epps and Melissa Bolona.

The synopsis of the film reads: “Three Midwestern brothers, a crime lord, and an incorruptible cop are on a deadly collision course when the youngest brother’s fiancée is kidnapped by human traffickers. To save her, the MacGregor boys call on their military training — and the strength of family — to fight the most important battle.”

Acts of Violence is set for release sometime in 2018.
