LONDON, Nov 27 — After breaking her silence about ten days ago on their shock split, Ewan McGregor’s wife Eve Mavrakis now says that she believes that her husband cheated on her with Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
Winstead was McGregor’s co-star in Fargo and is 14 years younger than the 46-year-old Trainspotting actor.
The Sun had reported that McGregor told Mavrakis that nothing happened behind her back when he confessed his feelings for Winstead to her. This led to their shock split and the breakdown of their marriage.
Mavrakis, his wife of 22 years, says she finds it ‘hard for her to believe him’.
Winstead recently split from her husband Riley Steams, whom she had been married to for seven years.
Mavrakis had recently broken her silence on their marriage after an Instagram follower posted a vicious comment about McGregor’s new love on an unrelated picture that Mavrakis had shared on Instagram.
Clearly angered by their recent separation, the follower wrote: “I can’t believe Ewan would end things with u for that cheap w****! U are so much better than him!!!! Take him for every penny u can!!!!”
The mother of four replied with a simple: “What can I do?”
Late last month, the new couple were spotted kissing at The Good Life Eatery in North London.
