LOS ANGELES, Nov 26 — Former Glee star Naya Rivera was arrested and charged with misdemeanour domestic battery in West Virginia, police confirmed to E! News.
Meanwhile, a police source told New York Daily News that the 30-year-old actress is accused of hitting husband Ryan Dorsey, 34, in the head while spending the Thanksgiving weekend in his hometown of Chesapeake.
A report from local news station WSAZ who was the first to report the news appeared to confirm this: “Investigators say she’s charged with domestic battery. They tell us it involves her husband at their home.”
WSAZ also shared a video showing a soft-spoken Rivera handcuffed and dressed down in a hoodie and dark pants while being arraigned.

She was then released to her father-in-law on a US$1,000 (RM4,120) bond.
WSAZ added that Dorsey had given a cell phone video of the assault to the police.
Rivera filed for divorce from the Ray Donovan actor in 2016 but called off their separation in October to continue taking care of their child together.
They tied the knot after a courtship that lasted three months in 2014.
Rivera rose to fame as cheerleader Santana Lopez on the hit Fox series Glee.
