LOS ANGELES, Nov 21 — Lizzy Caplan is reportedly joining the X-Men spinoff movie Gambit alongside Channing Tatum.

According to various reports, Caplan, whose credits include Now You See Me 2, True Blood, Cloverfield, and Masters of Sex, will play the female lead but her character is unknown as yet since plot details are being kept under wraps

The movie follows Tatum as the titular Gambit, also known as Remy LeBeau, a mutant who has the power to charge objects with kinetic energy — with his most notable weapon being playing cards.

The last time the character appeared on the big screen was in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was played by Taylor Kitsch.

Gambit is scheduled for release on February 14, 2019.
