LOS ANGELES, Nov 9 — Ben Affleck is apparently not that optimistic about playing Batman after Justice League, but hey, that really is a no-brainer if you asked fans of the caped crusader.
Affleck has had a bumpy road playing the character with many rumours floating over his future in the DC Extended Universe. Batman News quoted Affleck as saying in a recent interview with ExtraTV that he is unsure on what the future holds for him as Batman.
When asked if he would be up for playing Batman five times, he merely answered: “I don’t know about that. We’ll see what the future holds.”
If Affleck doesn’t think that he’d go past five movies, then it seems The Batman — which would be his fourth performance as Batman — could be his last, following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League.
With Affleck’s reluctance to confirm his commitment to the role, only time will tell what fate lies ahead for the Dark Knight.
