KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 — Japanese quintet girl group Juice=Juice has announced that Malaysia and Thailand will be included in their upcoming world tour titled “Juice=Juice Live Around Tour 2017”.

The group which is made up of members Miyazaki Yuka, Kanagawa Tomoko, Takagi Sayuki, Miyamoto Karin and Uemura Akari, recently performed in Bangkok for the first time at the second edition of Viral Fest Asia. At a press conference in Bangkok, the girls announced that they will be returning to Thailand soon for their world tour which will commence in September, and while they’re on the topic, they also mentioned Malaysia as their other Southeast Asian stop for the tour.

“We'll be going on a world tour in September, and two of the Asian locations that we'll be visiting are Malaysia and Thailand. So we're excited that we are able to come back to Bangkok again to meet our fans here,” said member Miyamoto Karin. On their first visit to Thailand, sub-leader Kanazawa Tomoko said, “We've been looking forward to coming to Thailand and we're happy that our Thai fans are excited to see us. So we really appreciate this opportunity.”

News of Juice=Juice’s world tour was first announced through episode #214 of the Hello! Project webshow “Hello Station”.

At the 8.05 mark of the video below, the girls announced the countries that will be included in their tour and some of the foreign countries mentioned aside from Thailand and Malaysia are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Mexico.

However, the girls also said that they will be adding more dates in the future.

“So far, these two are the only Asian countries that we have planned for. But in the future, we will be adding on more dates,” Takagi Sayuki said to TheHive.Asia.
