LOS ANGELES, May 13 ― Reese Witherspoon is back on screen, starring as a self-described “newly separated loser” in Home Again ― the romantic comedy debut from first-time director Hallie Meyers-Shyer.

The film, which is scheduled for release in theatres on September 8, sees Witherspoon play Alice, a confused mother of two who ends up sharing her guesthouse three young aspiring filmmakers (Pico Alexander, Nat Wolff, and Jon Rudnitsky), while spending some time apart from her husband (Michael Sheen).

The first trailer introduces viewers to Witherspoon's character and her new, young flatmates, two of whom turn out to be admirers — which is where things start to get slightly complicated.

From buckets of tears to wild nights out, new romances with said younger men, and taking naps in public places, the film takes the viewer on a journey with Alice as she sets out to reclaim her life, on her own terms (via The Hollywood Reporter). ― AFP-Relaxnews
