LOS ANGELES, Dec 7 — American band Red Hot Chili Peppers have published the music video for their latest release, Sick Love from the new album The Getaway.
Directed and illustrated by the English musician and digital artist Beth Jeans Houghton, the animated video for Sick Love shows the journey of a young girl as she travels to Hollywood in pursuit of her dreams. But all is not as it seems, as those around her unveil their masks and are revealed as monsters, nightmares become reality and vice versa. There are also cameos by members of the band in the cartoon clip.
Other singles released from the new album The Getaway include: the title track, Dark Necessities, Go Robot and We Turn Red. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently touring around Europe, before heading back to North America for 2017.
