LONDON, Oct 29 — Dame Helen Mirren is urging Americans to reflect on the surprise that was Britain’s decision to leave the EU — and vote on November 8.

The video, entitled No Regrets, has been funded by Humanity for Hillary.

Talking about making the film, Mirren said: "Never could I have imagined Britain voting to leave the EU, but it happened. And the global shockwaves, confusion and regret felt in the wake of Brexit should serve as a warning to the United States, which I love and consider a second home. Imagine how you’ll feel if you do not vote November 8. The unthinkable really can happen, and I strongly believe that love does trump hate. Vote."

The referendum vote (Brexit) held on June 23 was expected to result in the United Kingdom remaining in the EU, but leave unexpectedly won by 52per cent to 48per cent. The referendum turnout was 71.8per cent, with more than 30 million people voting.

The world was stunned by the vote — and led to many expressing remorse for note voting OR voting to leave, including a petition signed by over 100,000 people.
