LOS ANGELES, Sept 23 — A special showing of Broadway musical Allegiance, starring and partly inspired by George Takei, is being prepared for a December 13 theatrical screening.

The musical, which is about the US internment camps created for Americans of Japanese descent during the World War II period, enjoyed 150 Broadway performances from October 2015 onwards after a San Diego premiere in 2012.

It's to receive a second outing courtesy of a single night showing organised by screening specialist Fathom Events, which will distribute the show as George Takei's Allegiance: The Broadway Musical on the Big Screen.
