KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 — Ten winners were recognised with technical awards during the officiating night of the 28th Malaysian Film Festival (FFM28) which was held at Studio Sound Stage Finas last night.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman of Finas Datuk Mohd Khusairi Abdul Talib, Director General of Finas Datuk Kamil Othman, Deputy Director General of Production and Communication and Chairman FFM28 Datuk Fauzi Ayob, and Deputy Chairman of Finas Datuk Yusof Haslam.
Hosted by Sharifah Shahora dan Wan Syarul, the movie which took home the most awards is the sports drama, Ola Bola, directed by Chiu Keng Guan.
The movie led the night by winning three awards including Best Costume Design, Best Original Theme Song and Best Original Score.
The main awards night for FFM28 will take place tomorrow at the Plenary Hall, KLCC.

Best Short Film: RM10 (Entropy Studios Sdn Bhd)
Best Short Animated Film: Ejen Ali (Wau Animation)
Best Documentary Film: Boat People (Dosfellas Sdn Bhd)
