KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 7 — Sensational Malaysian songstress Shila Amzah has released her second original Mandarin-language song “Zaijian” (再見) — which literally means “Goodbye” — from her forthcoming unnamed Mandarin album, which will soon be released in 2016.

The single is a continuation from her previous Chinese hit, “Zaijian Bu Zaijian” (再見不再見) — meaning, “See you or never” — which was inspired from the singer’s real love story where she hesitated whether she should leave her boyfriend or not.

Thus, the newest song provides an answer to the previous song where the singer decided to say “Goodbye” to her painful love and move on.

In an interview with the TVB television show, “Jade Solid Gold” (劲歌金曲), Shila said that the reason she enlisted help from Jun Kung was because she had always wanted to work with a Hong Kong artiste and she knows that Kung has a good relationship with the people from her record company.

Famously known as only Shila (茜拉) in Chinese-speaking countries like China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, Shila Amzah recently won Most Popular Female Singer and Most Popular Female Singer in Hong Kong and Taiwan at one of China’s leading pop charts, “Music Pioneer List” (音樂先鋒榜). — The Hive.Asia
