HONG KONG, Oct 27 — Heavenly King Aaron Kwok, whose birthday fell yesterday, says he is ready to meet Miss Right and settle down.
According to Oriental Daily, Kwok made the comments during his surprise 50th birthday celebrations on Sunday.
After wishing that his mum would have good health always, he added, “Hope that I would meet Miss Right, set up a family and receive the blessings of everyone.”
His desire to get married also came through in a Weibo post yesterday.
He shared pictures of the party, including one of him and his mum cutting his birthday cake, with the message, “While I continue to work hard, I hope to get married soon and have a family.”
Kwok’s big surprise party also coincided with his 25th anniversary in entertainment.
The Straits Times reported that he had been tricked into thinking he was attending a normal birthday dinner at a hotel, but was surprised by his mother as well as longtime friends, including stars Julian Cheung and wife Anita Yuen, Shawn Yue and Miriam Yeung with husband Real Ting and their son.
