LOS ANGELES, Dec 19 ― Electro-pop duo IYES is among the Hype Machine’s most popular artists on December 18 with a cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” and London Grammar has just shared “Everywhere You Go” ― one of the first tracks the trio recorded together.

Brighton-based producer Josh Christopher and Czech singer Melis Soyaslanova formed IYES in 2012 and have only released a few tracks so far. Their latest, a cover of 2003’s “Crazy in Love,” is described as “subdued, spare, atmospheric” by All Things Go Music. The Brighton duo brings their signature down-tempo, understated sound to create a beautiful echo of the boom created by the original."

“Christopher’s pristine production ― complete with M.I.A.-esque gun sounds and 2013’s trademark effected-vocal ― complements Soyaslanova’s cooing voice, which neatly brings the ‘Crazy In Love’ theme to the fore, whilst maintaining delicately juxtaposing control,” writes The Line of Best Fit.

After releasing a debut album earlier this year, London Grammar is back with “Everywhere You Go,” which serves as the B-side to single “Nightcall” on a new EP. The track gives a glimpse of the trio’s early sound.

“It carries less of the electronic influence the band would come to be known for, but even with nary a synth to be found, that magnetic allure at the heart of all of Grammar’s best jams still shines through” comments Mixtape Maestro.

Hillydilly writes, “Even though the swelling ambiance of London Grammar we have come to know and love can’t be heard here, we can still hear the commanding vocals of Hannah Reid leading the way.”
