KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 — TA Investment Management Bhd has declared gross income distributions of two sen per unit for TA Comet Fund (TACF) and 2.5 sen per unit for TA High Growth Fund (TAHGF) to the registered unit holders as at March 31, 2014.

In a statement today, TA Enterprise (TAE) said without conclusive “blue sky scenario” in the economies of the US, Europe and Japan, investors found it difficult to justify higher valuation for equity markets.

“Liquidity appears to be the driving force in the market and even this factor is slowly being eroded by the tapering exercises in the US. Fortunately, we still have liquidity boost from Europe and Japan,” it said.

TAE said the current political standoff in Ukraine was expected to resolve itself soon.

“As such, the possibility of an unexpected crash is not likely, and sentiments remain mildly positive. The institutional investors should seek returns through rotational plays,” it said.

TACF aims to provide a channel for investors to invest in low-priced securities offering good value with great upside potential with a view of diversifying towards medium-priced securities and blue-chips as the market moves over the medium to long term.

TAHFG aims to provide investors with above average capital growth over the medium to long term by investing mainly in companies that offer higher growth prospects than the prevailing economic growth. — Bernama
