SEREMBAN, Nov 19 ― Several areas in the Seremban and Rembau districts will experience temporary water supply disruptions for 24 hours starting at 8am on November 24, said Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS).

SAINS Public Relations Division head Norzita Ismail said in a statement today that this was due to the scheduled maintenance work on pipe removal at the Sungai Temiang Bridge, Seremban and cleaning of the water tank at the Pedas Lama Water Treatment Plant in Rembau.

In Seremban, some of the affected areas will be Taman Bukit Sentosa, Taman Sapphire, Taman Bukit Berlian, Berlian Tropica, Taman Kotamas, Taman Chip Aik, Taman Bukit Desa, Taman Jayamas, Taman Markisa, Taman Templer, Industri Templer, Taman Bukit Mika, Taman Dawn Estate, Taman Sri Amber and Taman Templer Heights.

Also affected will be Taman Makmur, Taman Bengawan, Taman Kwong Tong, Taman Bukit Jade, Mount Jade, Taman Baiduri, Taman Bukit Intan, Taman Permata, Taman Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Taman Suria, Taman Bukit Lemon, Jalan Lobak, Jalan Velloo, Jalan Muthucumaru , Jalan Tun Dr Ismail, part of Jalan Temiang, the whole Templer area and part of Seremban town.

As for the Rembau district, some of the affected areas will be Kampung Air Panas Pedas, Kampung Sungai Beringin, Kedai Makan Majlis Chembong, Chembong Agriculture Department, Rembau Children’s Home, Chembong chicken factory, Kampung Anak Air Kundur, Kampung Paya Besar and Taman Rembau Permata.

The water cut will also affect residents in Taman Rembau Jaya, Kampung Seberang Batu Hampar, Pedas and Ladang Air Hangat RTD quarters, Wet World Air Panas Pedas, Kampung Mungkal, Sekolah Menengah Agama Pedas, Desa Permai, Pedas, Kampung Gaing Lama, Pekan Pedas, Kampung Gaing Baru, Taman Koperasi (KSNS), Ladang Ulu Pedas and Kampung Baru Tanjung Terap.

Also affected will be Kampung Tanjung Terap, Kampung Air Sekapas, Chembong Halt, Kampung Baru Air Sekapas, Kampung Chembong Kecil, Kampung Waris Tebat, Rumah Rakyat Pedas, Pedas health clinic and Pekan Pedas (row of shops).
