KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 — Umno earned a mere “pass” as an Opposition party from its own lawmaker Khairy Jamaluddin on the 100th day after losing federal power.

The Rembau MP said the Barisan Nasional (BN) anchor’s performance since the May 9 general election has been mediocre.

“Our performance? Ok-lah. I wouldn’t say sterling nor would I say a total failure. I would say it’s a pass,” he told reporters after an art exhibition here.

Today marks the 100th day of Pakatan Harapan rule. The four-party coalition-led by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, a former Umno president himself, ended BN’s six-decade rule in a stunning win in the 14th general election in May.

Commenting on the PH federal administration’s performance so far, Khairy said voters response seemed positive.

“As you can see people are quite happy with them,” he said.

“It seems voters don’t really care if they can’t fulfil their 100 day promises, they’re still quite happy.

“So congratulations to Pakatan.”
