KOTA BARU, May 12 — About 30 Pengkalan Chepa Umno division members today quit the party and expressed support for the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM).
The announcement was made by its Wanita chief Zarina Md Eusope in a press conference here today.
“This decision is taken following a huge change in the country,” she said.
Zarina also pointed out that her action was to ensure the continuation of the projects that had been planned in the area. — Bernama
