GEORGE TOWN, May 6 — Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders should pay more attention to their internal issues than comment on Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) campaign ceramah, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said today.

“Pay attention to your own Umno problems, don’t do a Donald Trump and be worried about the crowd size at our rallies.

“We can see with our own eyes, we can hear with our own ears,” he told a news conference here.

The caretaker Penang chief minister rejected the BN leaders’ claims that PH had padded up their ceramah turnout with bussed-in participants to make the audience seem larger than they would have been if only locals showed up.

“This is irresponsible, he has no proof of this at all,” he said.

Lim said a ceramah in Ipoh last night drew crowds of about 10,000 people but denied they had arrived in buses as alleged.

He said similarly in Melaka, the PH ceramah drew crowds of between 30,000 and 60,000 who were not bussed in.

“Everyone went to the ceramah on their own. Some drove there, some even walked there, they came for our ceramah because they wanted change,” he said.
