KOTA KINABALU, April 22 — Hardline Islamic party PAS is fielding a Christian among its candidates, two of them women, in Sabah for the 14th general election.

Its sole non-Muslim candidate Satail Majungkit, 60, who is with the Sidang Injil Borneo church and has been a PAS member for eight years, will be contesting in the Kadamaian state seat.

PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang announced the names of the candidates at a press conference here today.
