KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 — Traffic flow at several major highways was reported to be slow-moving as of 9pm as more people returned to the capital after the Chinese New Year holiday.

According to PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman, the traffic flow was reported to be slow-moving from Tanjung Malim to Rawang and from Gopeng to Sungkai following the increase in the volume of cars.

“Traffic flow is also reported to be slow from Ipoh to Simpang Pulai Rest and Service area and it is expected to continue until midnight,” he said when contacted here this evening.

Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said traffic flow was reported to be still moving slowly at the Karak Highway from Genting Sempah to the Gombak toll plaza.
